As always, it did not dissapoint! What a brilliant race. I really felt bad for Jenson though :(

I have it recorded on my DVR but haven't had a chance to watch it. Try as I might, I just can't get up at 6 in the morning. The INDY car race on Saturday night from Chicago was way exciting. Lots of four and five wide racing and the first 14 cars were within a second of Franchitti.

I'm glad I didn't say anything else then! I record it too and usually get to it in the afternoon. I can't keep up with indy car racing as well but I do like it. Did you record Qualifying for Spa? that was exciting too! If I ever get to go to a race, I think That might be the one :)

Back when the US Grand Prix was at Indianapolis, I went five times. Despite it always being the largest crowd of the season and tremendous support from the speedway (they built a freaking road course in the infield) using turn 1 (for Indy 500) and the front straight of the oval (it was the longest and fastest stretch for F1 cars) and the community, Bernie still decided to take his toys and go home. He's a real bastard.

As much fun as the Grand Prix was, nothing compares to the Indy 500 with 450,000 fans packed into the speedway. Words just can't describe the feeling and sound of 33 indy cars roaring by.
