Right Wing America In All It's Glory

Lest there be any doubt, the right wing of America has gone totally off the deep end and entered uncharted territory. Fed red meat by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glen Beck, the frothing mad and seriously deranged teabaggers have now shown their true colors and it is as ugly as I expected.

At a anti-health care rally at the Capitol, protestors hurled racial and homophobic slurs at Democratic members of Congress. Representative John Lewis (D-Georgia), a civil rights hereo, was repeatedly called nigger (lets not sugar coat this by using the less offensive N-word) by unhinged, right wing racist. Representative Emmanuel Cleaver (D-Missouri) was spat upon by others while Representative Barney Frank (D-Massachuesettes) was called homo and faggot, the last slur garnering a round of laughter.

Republican leaders, who had better watch out themselves as these crazies will soon turn on them, were quick to condem but stressed that it wasn't representative of the group as a whole. Bullshit. One look at any of these teabagger rallies tells you all you need to know. They are filled with angry white males, pissed off that America elected a black man as President. The crowds are 100% white, trend older and filled with hateful signs that don't bother to disguise the true hatred of those who like to tea bag. The only thing missing are the white hoods and burning crosses.

Make no mistake about this people, these crazed right wingers are a serious threat to this nation. They will stop at nothing to preserve their image of America. Think for a moment about what it is that they are so up in arms about. They are pissed that Democrats want to ensure health coverage for all Americans. Seriously, why does helping your fellow Americans so upset these people? Imagine if Obama really was the socialist they make him out to be. How long before they actually do break out their guns and start opening fire on anyone with an Obama bumper sticker? How long till one of them tries to kill Obama or other Democrats? At what point do we stop calling them crazed protestors and start calling them what they really are...Terrorist?

It's nice to see your hypocracy in action her on your blog, Kelly.

You use a broad brush paint a picture of dangerous racism over a a bunch of people who want government waste to end and taxes to stop rising, based on some very isolated, and condemned, statements made by a very small number of people. Shame on you.

(Also, the use of the term "teabagger" should be beneath you, too, since it's a Tea Party, not a sexual practice. Leave the Junior High insults out of yhour otherwise likeable blog, please.)

Why are you a hyprocrite, you may ask? Well, if you look further back in your blog, you talk about all the fringe crazies and the damage they do to the people who actually suffer from gender dysphoria. You want them excluded from the dialog because you feel that they damage people's perception of what you and others like you are going through.

So, it's OK for you condemn a political movement based on the actions of a distinct minority, but not OK for others to condemn you for the actions of a distinct minority in your community.

Do some research on the Tea Parties before you automatically condemn them. You might find a lot more common ground than you think.

I have absolutely nothing to do in common with the TEABAGGERS. They are racist, homophobic and very dangerous. What part of that don't you see? They are sending out death threats to members of Congress, publishing the addresses of political enemies, making a mockery of democracy and worship the total freaking nutcase known as Sarah Palin.

They are a fringe group, all of the, and are a real threat to this country. Where the fuck were they when Bush and Company were starting wars, cutting taxes to the filthy rich, running up huge deficits, spending recklessly on shit that the overwhelming majority opposed.

Where the fuck were they when Bush instituted spying on Americans? Where the fuck were they when Bush and Company squandered billions and billions in Iraq? Where the fuck were these TEABAGGERS when Republicans were taking the constitution to a shredder?

And whose taxes are exactly going up? Mine aren't. I've actually seen some pretty substantial relief since Obama came into office after nothing from Bush.

You see, it is all because a Democrat is in the office, an African American at that, and these racist fucks can't stand it. Well, I call a spade a spade and say fuck them and yes, the overwhelming majority of the TEABAGGERS are racist, homophobic, ignorant, dangerous and out of control.

So no, I don't see things the same way you do. These people deserve nothing but scorn from the rest of us. The Modern Republican Party is so far gone that even Nixon wouldn't recognize it. They have gone so far off the deep end that I honestly fear for the safety of our President, members of Congress and the health of our democracy. Fuck 'em.

Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.

Look around. There's no proof of anything that the Protesters did that was homophobic or terroristic.

The Tea Party folks are Independent voters and over half of them are women. They voted the Republicans out of power based on the spending and wars issues. The Democrats campaigned on fiscal grounds and ending the wars. Barack Obama was elected because he promised to do things differently.

The Democrats have let the people down on all fronts the same way that the Republicans did. The Independents are unhappy, they are protesting, and they will make changes occur.

On the spending, Bush's spending was horrible for the future of our country. Why is it then, when Obama trebles that amount of spending, its OK or justified because Bush did it?

"This isn't an epiphany by any stretch. From the beginning, with their witch doctor imagery, watermelon agitprop and Curious George effigies, the wingnut right has been dying to blurt out, as Lee Atwater famously said, "nigger, nigger, nigger!"

"TeaParty.org founder Dale Robertson brandished a sign with the (misspelled) word "niggar." So they're not even as restrained as the generally unstrung Atwater anymore."

"Most of the time, they merely imply the use of the word. Rush Limbaugh referring to the president as a "black man-child," for example."

"The tea party is an extension of talk radio. It's an extension of Fox News Channel. It's an extension of the southern faction of the Republican Party -- the faction that gave us the Southern Strategy, the Willie Horton ad, the White Hands ad and the racially divisive politics of Lee Atwater and Karl Rove. It's an extension of the race-baiting and, often, the outright racism evident in all of those conservative spheres."

"Now you might be saying to yourself, I don't see the racism here. But if you eliminate all of the reasons for Stout's participation in the tea party movement as being contradictory or nonsensical, all that's left is race."

Read part one of the article here.

And part two here.

Or ignore reality in the name of your Fox-News footsoldiering.

Honestly, Kelly. You're more patient with obvious trolls than i am.

i would have just deleted him.

I'm in the process of putting a post together that documents the atrocities put forth by the teabaggers and how they are the modern day GOP.

You're still a hyprocite, no matter what the politics.
