Undecided Voters?
As I sit here on my sofa watching the latest Presidential debate, I got to wondering about the undecided voters assembled there tonight. I guess the thing I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that some voters still don't know who they are voting for. If at this late point in the campaign, you can't make up your mind, well, you don't have any business voting. We could not have two more different candidates, each offering a very distinct platform for the next four years, and somehow it's still not enough to go on? I just don't get it and it pisses me off.

It's probably because they don't really see any real choice here.
I see a very clear choice here. We have an old man who has clearly gone insane while at the other end of the spectrum we have someone who is actually smart and capable. To me that is a distinct choice and I say to those who are undecided, you are idiots and please don't vote.

How will they govern? is the question. I believe that they both think alike (government solution is the first best choice), so with just a few policy differences, they will govern pretty much the same. Backgrounds don't matter. Campaigns don't matter. Once you are in office, everything changes.
I do agree that once in office, everything changes, but I also believe that Obama will do far less harm. Government is not the enemy, I believe that govt. intervention can be a great thing if the govt. is competent. Under Dubya, it has been anything but, under Obama it can be again.
It's too bad Obama will have Peolisi and Reid around him. If there were competent leadership in place in either or both houses, we might be able to whether this storm better.
