This is totally off the subject, but I am so glad you finally got the comments back on here. I haven't visited in a bit.
Oh, and is there anyway to successfully ignore comments that gossip whore teachers make?? The elementary school I work in (not as a teacher, as a therapist for a child with PDD; I work through a separate agency) has this teacher whose class I have to be in, and she's the worst. She's trying to get me off his case and put in an instructional aide. I agree he needs this, but he also has social issues in addition to behaviors. Academics is the least of his worries, but of course, this is the school district we're talking about here.
My field is in Gerontology and Social Work, but be damn if I can find anything in that. They keep hiring internally. A lot help that does me.
I'm still applying for other positions, and I know I need to be patient. I just don't want to go postal on this middle aged, needin' to retire BITCH!!!!
